- Who are we?
The Accountability Archive is a crowdsourced record of journalists, politicans, and public figures endorsing or encouraging the ethnic cleansing of Gaza and/or defaming pro-Palestinian activists.
- What kind of evidence are we looking for?
We are not evidencing war crimes. We are looking for evidence of support of the genocide, not the genocide itself.
- Dehumanisation of Palestinian people.
- Justification or promotion of violence towards and collective punishment of civilian populations
- Call for further persecution of Palestinians in Palestine or in the diaspora.
- Attempt to deny or underplay the death toll, or deny that civilians are being harmed.
- Argument for the forced displacement of Palestinians into Egypt or elsewhere in the world.
- Justification of the targeting of civilian infrastructure.
- Defamation of individual pro-Palestinian activists and protesters.
- Defamatory statements about demonstrations and protests.
- What languages do we accept submissions in?
We want submissions in every language
We will hire translators in a later phase
- Are we looking for evidence of war crimes?
No, please submit evidence of war crimes directly to the International Criminal Court via their website.
- When will the data be published?
This project has three phases. We are currently in the collection phase. We will then need time to comb through and translate the data in the analysis phase, and finally there will be a publication phase.
- How will the archive be used?
We intend for the archive data to be used in a number of ways. It will be available to future historians and researchers to understand how this type of mass killing can take place through research. It will also potentially be a resource for lawyers looking for supporting evidence in trying defamation and war crime cases.
- Is tagging you on X or Instagram enough to log evidence?
No, we are a small staff team, and while we try to review tags, there is a good chance we will miss this evidence. Please use the form to submit.
